North Baltimore Crime: Lost Keys Found by Burglar

Charles Village  Attempted Larceny from Auto: 200 block of E. 27th Street, 8:30 p.m., April 24. A juvenile was arrested trying to steal the license plate from a 2011 Chevrolet. Larceny from Auto: unit block of Art Museum Drive, between 6 and 7:55 p.m., April 25. A bag, Dictaphone, headphones, and medical records were stolen from a 2008 Acura.    Hampden Larceny from Auto: 3000 block of Chestnut Avenue, between 10:30 a.m. and noon, April 24. An iPhone and cellphone charger was stolen from a 2012 Dodge Ram.  Larceny from Auto: 3900 block of Falls Road, between 8 p.m., April 24 and 6 p.m., April 25. North Baltimore Crime: Shoplifter Caught Stealing 13 Bars of Soap

Abell Larceny Shoplifting: 3106 Greenmount Ave., 1:25 p.m., April 23. A shoplifter tried to steal 13 bars of Dove soap, but was caught and issued a citation. Better Waverly Burglary Commercial: 1137 Fillmore St., 10:35 p.m., April 22. A burglar entered the House of Hill Recording and tried to take a television, but was confronted by the owner. The burglar then ran out and drove off in a white Nissan Sentra. Larceny Other: 700 block of Exeter Hall, between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., April 23. A man told police he believes his baby sitter stole a .357 Magnum handgun from a lock box in his bedroom.   Hampden Burglary Residential: 3500 block of Roland Avenue, 8:20 a.m., April 22. North Baltimore Crime: Spate of Car Break-Ins Hit Hampden

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Belvedere Larceny from Auto: 5700 block of Clearspring Road, between 10 p.m., April 18 and 11 a.m., April 19. A Maryland tag was stolen from a 2010 Dodge. Better Waverly Larceny Shoplifting: 601 E. 33rd St., noon, April 17. A thief tried to steal $24.12 worth of food but was caught and issued a citation. Larceny Shoplifting: 3133 Greenmount Ave., 2:25 p.m., April 18. A thief stole two VSOP Paul Mason liquor bottles. Charles Village Larceny from Auto: 100 block W. 27th Street, between 4 and 5:30 a.m., April 18. An MP3 player, various CDs and DVDs were stolen from a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta. The guy who broke into the house on the 2600 block of Miles in Remington is a real piece of work. He lives at 2720 Huntingdon Ave, his name is Tony Bullock and he has been a real problem for the neighborhood. He is only 17 years old but has committed several other burglaries on his neighbors homes. A shoplifter tried to steal various food items from Giant Food, was caught and issued a citation.   Larceny Auto: 800 block of Montpelier Street, between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., April 16. Abell Stolen Auto: 3200 block of Greenmount Avenue, 8:45 p.m., April 4. A gray 2007 Honda Accord with Maryland tags was stolen. Attempted Burglary Residential: 3000 block of Guilford Avenue, 11:23 a.m., April 5. A burglar broke a rear glass in an attempt to get into the residence, but failed. Belvedere Larceny from Auto: 5700 block of York Road, between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., March 22. The window of a 1995 Buick was broken and a handicap placard was stolen. A Dyna splint, a muscle relaxer machine and various CDs were stolen from an unlocked 2001 Cadillac.  Charles Village Burglary Residential: 2744 Guilford Avenue, between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., March 21. North Baltimore Crime: Shoplifter Swipes Shrimp

Better Waverly  Larceny Shoplifting: 600 block of E. 33rd Street, 11:25 a.m., March 18. A shoplifter picked up $40 of shrimp from Giant and tried to leave without paying. The shoplifter was caught and issued a citation.  Larceny Shoplifting: 600 block of E. 33rd Street, 4:30 p.m., March 19. A shoplifter stole various food items from the Giant. A security guard gave chase but the shoplifter was able to escape.   Burglary Commercial: 600 block of Homestead Street, 4:13 a.m., March 19. Abell Aggravated Assault: 7 p.m., Feb. 18, 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. A man was in an argument at Kitty’s Lounge when he pulled out a knife. The term "busted out" isn't journalistic OR accurate. A thief would have "broken" a window "in" if they were trying to gain access to a car.   more ›

Abell Larceny Other: 400 E. 31st Street, between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Jan. 20. A purse containing a wallet, bankcard, cellphone and keys were stolen from an office in a church. Better Waverly Robbery Unarmed: 600 block E. 33rd Street, 2 p.m., Jan. 21. A woman asked a man to give him money he owes her. They started to argue and the slammed the woman’s head against a storefront, took $4 from her hand but drop the cash as he fled. The man was later arrested in the 3100 block of Guilford Avenue.
