Man Who Killed Pregnant Girlfriend, Her Daughter To Be Sentenced Wednesday

Brian Eggleston pleaded guilty to the murders in November 2012.

A man who pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the June 2011 shooting deaths of his girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter will be sentenced Wednesday. Brian Eggleston, a Parkville resident, admitted to the murders on Nov. 26, 2012, according to a news release from Baltimore County's state's attorney's office. He will be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. in Circuit County. Police discovered the bodies of Alicia Avery, 25, and her daughter Darry'el Parker on June 26, 2011 in a room at Welcome Inn, 8729 Loch Bend Drive. Both suffered gun shot wounds to the head. Woman Who Allegedly Hit Baltimore City Officers Had Prior Charges

Alycia Marie Hoffman, 25, faces narcotics possession charges as well traffic offenses

The woman that allegedly hit two Baltimore City police officers with a car on Wednesday, previously faced theft charges as a result of being a passenger in a car during a fatal accident in July 2011.   Alycia Marie Hoffman, 25, was arrested and charged with drug possession and several traffic offenses after she allegedly struck two police officers with a car and then led a chase into Baltimore County, according to police. Hoffman, of Bel Air, after allegedly striking the officers, led police on a chase through Northeast Baltimore, Towson, Parkville and Carney before county police cars boxed her in and forced her to a stop. Journal Entries Result in Eight Burglary Charges

Police say a 22-year-old Lutherville woman wrote about the Parkville and Cockeysville homes she allegedly burglarized.

For some, a journal is a place to keep their secrets but one Lutherville woman's journal entries resulted in eight burglary charges. Emily Kearns, 22, of the unit block of Elphin Court, is charged with a series of nine burglaries that span areas in both Cockeysville and Parkville precincts. Kearns was arrested on Dec. 4 when detectives, who were keeping her under surveillance, saw her break into a home in the unit block of Country Club Lane and attempt to break into a home in the unit block of Greentree Drive in the Phoenix area, according to police spokeswoman Cpl. Investigation Reveals Shot Officer's Weapon Fired

An off-duty police officer was shot in an Overlea area neighborhood in the early morning Dec. 9.

An off duty police officer who was shot in Overlea nearly two weeks ago was able to fire at least two rounds during the attack. A police department investigation found that two rounds were fired from weapon of the Baltimore County police officer shot when a gunman emerged from an unruly crowd near Dale Avenue and Danville Road on Dec. 9, according to an email from police spokeswoman Elise Armacost. "Investigators have not yet determined the context in which the weapon was fired," Armacost wrote, adding that police were able to confirm the officer had not been shot with his own weapon. Gunman Emerges from Crowd, Shoots Off-Duty Officer

An off-duty Baltimore County Police Department officer was shot twice in the Overlea area Sunday morning after a gunman emerged from a crowd. At 3:24 a.m. police found the officer, suffering from two gunshot wounds, at Dale Avenue and Danwood Road, according to a report from Baltimore County police. Police found out that a "large group of people" had been blocking the street, and that the off-duty officer had "stopped his vehicle and asked them to move so he could pass," the report states. "A male emerged from the crowd with a gun and fired several shots into the victim's car, striking him twice," it states. Police Investigate Facebook Comments In Wake Of Parkville Murders

The man accused of killing his wife and another man over the weekend may have made comments about marital troubles on the social network in the days leading up to the stabbing.

The man arrested for the stabbing death of his wife and another man in Parkville Sunday morning may have made comments about marital troubles on Facebook in the days leading up to the killings. Beginning in late October, a man using the same name as the man arrested and charged in the crime—Bryant Walls—posted to Facebook complaining of marital trouble. Police have said since Walls turned himself in that domestic issues were a possible motive in the killings. A police spokeswoman could not immediately confirm the messages were written by Walls, 45, of the 300 block of Pulaski Highway in Joppa. Baltimore Man Charged with Killing Bar Security Guard

Police have charged a suspect for allegedly stabbing a a Tee Bee's Bar bouncer to death.

A Baltimore man has been charged with stabbing a Tee Bee's Bar security guard to death, according to Baltimore County police.  Haywood Trice, 25, of the 1500-block of N. Wolfe Street, is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.  Trice allegedly stabbed and killed Tavares Jones, a Tee Bee's Bar security guard, who was attempting to break up a fight at the Parvkille bar last Saturday.  "Just after 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 1, 2012, County Police responded to the bar for a fight call," police spokesman Shawn Vinson wrote in a release. "Upon arrival, officers learned that a fight between two women escalated into a fight between several people.
