Mount Washington School Seeks $50,000 Grant
The school would use the funds to build a safer play space and buy more computers.
The Mount Washington School is competing for a $50,000 grant and needs your vote. The school is participating in Clorox’s Power a Bright Future program through Dec. 19. The school needs to win the most votes and finish first in the explore category of the contest to win the grant, according to the contest’s website. Currently the school is ranked No. 34 in its category. The grant will be used to improve play space, add more computers to classrooms and resources for the school’s International Baccalaureate program, according to an email from Jill Feinberg, a member of the school’s parent teacher organization.
