Loyola Reitz Arena Getting $1M in Improvements
The improvements come less than a year after the Greyhounds made an NCAA Tournament appearance.
On Thursday, when many NCAA basketball teams start their seasons, and less than a year after Loyola University Maryland’s men’s team made the NCAA Tournament, the school announced a $1 million gift to improve Reitz arena. The donation was made by Jim Forbes, class of 1980, and his wife Hollis, and will be used to add enhanced signage and scoreboards at the 2,100-seat arena, according to a news release from the university.
