This is the third such incident reported in the area since February.
A woman was robbed at knifepoint in her home in the Villages of Homeland. According to Baltimore police, at 11:15 p.m., Thursday in the 5200 block of Downing Road a woman opened the door to walk out of her home when a robber pushed open the door. The woman then was forced to the ground, and the robber placed a knife to her throat. The woman’s roommate heard the commotion, saw the robber and then locked herself in her room. The robber then went upstairs and the woman followed him and gave him an undisclosed amount of money. The robber then fled the house in an unknown direction. There have been three armed robberies in the neighborhood since mid-February.
Police are searching for a robber following a home invasion in the Villages of Homeland. According to Baltimore police, at 1 a.m. on Monday in the 300 block of Homeland Southway, a robber walked into a home in the neighborhood through a sliding glass door while a man and his brother were watching a movie. The robber was armed with a black handgun and demanded money from the resident. The resident then struggled with the robber who eventually ran out of the home. Although the suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the attack, his watch did fall off in the struggle with the resident and is being processed as evidence. Maj. The robber stole the woman’s purse that had her cigarettes and day planer.
A woman was robbed of her purse at gunpoint in Waverly. According to Baltimore police, at 6 a.m., Thursday a woman was walking in the 3300 block for Westerwald Ave. when a robber approached her. The robber was carrying a dark colored object the woman believed was a gun. The robber told the woman to "give it up" and she told him she did have anything and threw her purse at him. The robber possibly escaped in a silver car.
A China Express deliveryman was robbed at gunpoint after making a delivery and returning to the store. According to Baltimore police, at 11:10 p.m., Saturday a deliveryman returned to the restaurant at 419 E. 33rd St. following a delivery. While the deliveryman was in the parking lot he was approached by the robber, who pulled out a silver revolver and hit the deliveryman in the mouth with the gun. The robber then stole an unknown amount of cash from the driver. The robber then went over and spoke to a man in a silver car. A deliveryman was robbed in the Villages of Homeland after dropping off a pizza and returning to find a man sitting in his car. According to Baltimore police, at 11:30 p.m., Friday a man delivered a pizza in the 900 block of Homeland Southway, but when he got back to his car a man was sitting in the vehicle. The man pulled out a handgun and told the deliveryman that he would shoot him and demanded money. The driver handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber took off running headed south. A woman had her purse with a paycheck in it stolen at gunpoint in Waverly. According to Baltimore police, at 8:39 p.m., Feb. 27, a woman was walking in the 3600 block of Ellerslie Ave. when a robber approached her from behind. The robber then pulled out a handgun and said, "Give me what you got." The victim handed over her purse that $20 in cash, a paycheck for $1,023 and various paperwork. A robber, armed with a knife, stole $400 from the Stadium Lounge. According to Baltimore police, at 9:59 p.m. on Friday a robber walked into the lounge, located at 3351 Greenmount Ave., displayed a knife and demanded money. The robber pulled out a gun after a struggle.
A man was punched and robbed at gunpoint while waiting for a bus near York Road. According to Baltimore police, at 10:30 p.m., Feb. 12 the man was at a bus stop in the 500 block of E. Coldspring Lane, when a robber approached him and said "Give me all your [expletive]." The robber then punched the man in the face, and the man pushed the robber away. At that point the robber pulled out a black handgun and the man handed over his wallet containing credit cards, Social Security card and bus pass. The robber took the property and ran off. He was stabbed in the shoulder as he was trying to flee.
A man was stabbed when he tried to get away from a robber in Charles Village—though he didn't initially notice it. According to Baltimore police, at 8 p.m., Feb. 11, a man was walking in the 2500 block of Guilford Avenue when a robber grabbed him. The robber then told the man: "Where’s it at? Give it up." The robber then searched the man and took his cellphone and ID. At that point, the man tried to pull away from the robber. When that happened the man was struck on his shoulder. But the man continued to run from the scene and boarded a bus. Once he was on the bus, the man realized that he was stabbed when the robber struck him on the shoulder. Two women were chased into their Villages of Homeland apartment and robbed. According to Baltimore police, at 8:58 p.m. Feb. 15, the women were walking into the building when they heard loud footsteps coming up from behind. The women hurried into the apartment but before they could lock the door, the robbers entered the building and demanded their property while holding black handguns. Both women gave the robbers their purses that contained cash, credit cards and various papers. The robbers then ran off in an unknown direction.
