The intended victims were on the porch when a stranger approached.
Two people were on their porch in Better Waverly when they were shot at multiple times. According to Baltimore police, two people were on the porch at 6:39 p.m., Dec. 9 in the 500 block of E. 30th Street when someone carrying a shotgun approached. The people on the porch ran inside the home, at which point the person fired multiple shots at the home. No one was injured in the shooting and the shooter ran off westbound. An off-duty Baltimore County Police Department officer was shot twice in the Overlea area Sunday morning after a gunman emerged from a crowd. At 3:24 a.m. police found the officer, suffering from two gunshot wounds, at Dale Avenue and Danwood Road, according to a report from Baltimore County police. Police found out that a "large group of people" had been blocking the street, and that the off-duty officer had "stopped his vehicle and asked them to move so he could pass," the report states. "A male emerged from the crowd with a gun and fired several shots into the victim's car, striking him twice," it states. Two males were found shot Wednesday afternoon about a block from where a teenager was gunned down the night before. Det. Jeremy Silbert, a police spokesman, said at about 2 p.m. police found two males, one shot in the chest and the other in the chest and leg, in the 2600 block of Boone Street. Both of them have been taken to area hosptials for treatment. Detectives are still investigating the incident, but are searching for two persons of interest who were seen in the area near the time of the shooting. Silbert said he didn't want to speculate on whether the incident was related to Tuesday night's shootings nearby. Victim declared dead at Shock Trauma after shooting on 3800 block of McDowell Ln.
A man was shot and killed on the 3400 block of McDowell Ln. in Baltimore Highlands shortly before midnight on Friday, according to police. At 11:46 p.m., Baltimore County police and fire personnel responded to the 3800 Block of McDowell Lane for a report of a shooting, police said in a release. Upon their arrival at the scene, they discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound, the release said. He was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he later died, according to the release. The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is investigating this incident. The shooting is at least the third in the Northern District this week.
The Baltimore police have reported a shooting in the Old Goucher neighborhood. The shooting was reported in the 2300 block of North Charles Street about 5:40 p.m. on Thursday evening. No further details were immediately available. This is at least the third shooting in the Northern District this week. On Monday Curtis Jones, 28, was found shot and killed in the 600 block of Dumbarton Avenue. That same day an 18-year-old man was found shot in the arm in the 500 block of Chateau Avenue. The 28-year-old man was gunned down on Dumbarton Avenue on Monday.
Police identified Curtis Jones, 28, as the man who was shot and killed in Pen Lucy on Monday night. According to police, officers responded to the 600 block of Dumbarton Avenue on Monday night where they discovered Jones lying in the street. Jones, of the 1700 block of North Fulton Avenue, was suffering from multiple gun shot wounds to the head and torso. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was pronounced dead that night. Detectives are still investigating the case.

Terrence Kelly, 38, admitted he shot his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend.
A man was sentenced to 40 years in prison for shooting his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend. Terrence Kelly, 38, was sentenced in Baltimore Circuit Court for attempted first-degree murder and a handgun violation. According to a news release from the State’s Attorney’s office, Kelly pleaded guilty to shooting Chico Sellers three times with a .40 Caliber handgun in the doorway of Sellers’ home in the 4400 block of Wrenwood Avenue in Wilson Park following a dispute about visiting his 5-year-old son. On May 7, 2011 Kelly stopped by the house at about 8:30 p.m. and asked Chinita Long, his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child, if he could take the boy for the weekend. The shooters drove off in a car southbound on St. Paul Street.
A man was walking in the Old Goucher neighborhood when car passengers shot him with a paintball gun. According to a police report, the attack occurred just after midnight on Wednesday in the 2200 block of St. Paul Street when a Silver Toyota Camry pulled up beside the man. The passengers in the car shot him multiple time before driving southbound. Police are still investigating the incident.

Two men were reported shot in the 6000 block of Bellona Avenue.
(UPDATE) 9:28 a.m., Friday—Two men were reportedly found shot near the Rosebank and Homeland neighborhoods Thursday night in what police believe was a drug dispute. According to Det. Jeremy Silbert, a police spokesman, the victims were found shot in a car at about 10 p.m. Thursday in the 6000 block of Bellona Avenue. The wounded men, one thought to be in his 20s and another in his 40s, were found in a gold Dodge, and are believed to have driven to that location after being shot.
