Fitness Gifts for Christmas

There's no better time than the holiday time to encourage fitness in your household.

As you consider what last-minute gifts to get your loved ones, consider this: approximately 72 million Americans are obese, according to the Centers for Disease Control. That's more than a third of adults and 17 percent of children.  But obesity has its costs. It costs lives and, in Maryland, costs the medical system nearly $1.5 billion a year, according to the CDC.
