Basically they're saying no SLRs film or digital. They're just going to allow point and shoots in on these two days.

I covered the infield for a few years for the Baltimore Messenger. I wrote an article the final year of the "free for all" where several officers at the race told me it was getting out of hand. It was also the same year the photographer covering the event with me was maced by police while taking photos of a melee. Needless to say the restrictions on alcohol etc. started the next year.

Hugh, I can go through past part one crime reports and see if I can still find the incident and the case number to follow up with downtown tomorrow. But the police have not issued any further information.
