A proud Baltimore native, Summer took to the highways as soon as she could drive, exploring and writing about cities across the country. This obsessive love for small towns and hidden wonders is what inspires her contributions to the Patch community.

In addition to story-telling and road-tripping, she loves picnicking with her pit bull Aeva, drinking wine in windowsills and gorging on the fruits of her backyard garden.

Her work has been featured in various local and national publications, scripts for radio, and literary journals. She is the current sex & relationships columnist for The UB Post.
