Armed Robber Steals a Slurpee

A man robbed the Royal Farms store in Evergreen and made off with a slurpee.

According to Baltimore police, at 11:35 p.m., June 30, a robber armed with a handgun walked into the store, located at 206 W. Cold Spring Lane, walked behind the counter and demanded money.

The robber then took the clerk to the store’s office and stole a “blue Slurpee,” 22 packs of Newport cigarettes and a bag of Doritos valued at $1.09.

The robber ran from the scene, but the cigarettes and Doritos were recovered.

A police spokesman was unable to confirm if the robber was arrested.
