WAVEscape attracted folks of all ages from the Waverlies, showing off not only the secret green open space few know about but the many talents of numerous artists residing on the blocks from 29th up to 39th between Greenmount and Ellerslie.
WAVEscape demonstrated the power of investing energy, kindness, love and time in young people as 901 ARTS youth stole the show with their drumming, singing and theatre.
My only disappointment was in exhausting the battery in my camera before Barage Band played and before Jake, the unsung hero of WAVEscape, sang a wonderful Yiddish tune accompanied by a classical cello player.
