Teen Attempts Toy Gun Robbery in Charles Village

The teen hit the man with the fake weapon.

A group of teens tried to rob a man in Charles Village using a toy gun.

According to Baltimore police, at 9 p.m., July 22, a man was approached by a group of teenagers while he was walking in the 2600 block of St. Paul Street.

One of the teens pulled out a toy gun and told the man "give me all your stuff."

The man told the teen he knew the gun was a fake and walked away.

As the man walked away the teen hit him in the head with the toy gun and ran away.

The man returned home and called police.
